For better seasoning results, use smaller applications of seasoning at frequent intervals throughout the cooking process instead of dumping it all in at once. Doing this gives your food more flavor and you can get the most from your ingredients.

Don’t cook with wines that you don’t enjoy drinking. If you use a kind of wine you’ve never tasted before, you may mess up the flavor of the dish you’re working on. If you want a safe bet, most liquor stores carry cooking wines.

If you struggle to find time to make dinner every night, do some of your prep work the morning before. Plan ahead by chopping veggies or readying a marinade the night before. You will be a much happier cook if you do not have to do as much the next day, resulting in less stress.
